
Now, here's a nice change for the sports page. Canadian skater Marie-France Dubreuil is seen flying like an angel at the Saddledome (it's an arena). She and partner Patrice Lauzon placed second in the compulsory dance event at the world figure skating championship here yesterday. I'm glad the Flames lost their game. Otherwise, she would have been replaced on the front page by Iginla or Kiprusoff. (Photo credit to the

Once again this couple graced the pages of the Herald today after their dazzling performance last night. Their free dance was the best of the evening, though not quite enough to win the gold. It was a great comback after having to withdraw from the Olympics because of an injury. She was in a wheelchair just weeks ago. They did the Canadians proud. Hope you got to see them in the highlights; especially the expression on their faces at the end.
