The real me

Okay, I give up trying to hide behind those fancy shades. As you can see, I'm not really a dog; just getting a bit long in the tooth.
You can see I'm wearing my Edmonton Oilers cap, a gift from my brother and sister-in-law who know me well. During the playoff run two years ago, this hat was either on my head or proudly displayed in the back window of the car......until the tires were slashed.
Looks like the team is needing my support again this year, so it's time to show my true colours. Might need to play it safe and just wear the boxer shorts they gave me. My reason for secrecy? Just put new rubber on the Olds. They're not kidding when they talk about the battle of Alberta.

I don't dare tell you who took that profile shot. If he finds out I'm displaying it on the www, he may sue me. I've heard he's selling his stuff on the black market. Or, would that be the red market?
Vancouver recently played the Oilers three times in a row - I guess you knew that! After they beat us in the third game the morning paper headline was "The Sp-Oilers"
Ah Gary, am I ever glad the Oliers hat got your attention. The comments on the blog are the fun part, so thanks. Please do it again soon.
Yes, I watched those three games with interest. Vancouver definitely gave them whatfor in the first two. Too many teams fighting for a playoff spot wouldn't you say? Nice to see the Canadian teams doing so well. Another barn burner in store for us tonight.
It's Sunday afternoon and the Mighty Ducks have just taken the Canucks to the cleaners! Man, it's hard to watch when your team is being out-played like that! Watched some of the Flames and Oilers last night. Everybody's playing hard! I think the Oilers and the Canucks might be fighting for last place on the playoff list though!
There are just too many good teams in the Western division. It's a shame that not all of them will get into the playoffs. Hope our teams will make it though. It's a lot more fun when they stay in the running.
No games televised last night but I did see some highlights. Your Canucks lost a heartbreaker but are still breathing down our necks. Best of all, Calgary broadcasters sounded a bit nervous in light of the Flames loss while the Oilers were pommeling Phoenix. So, as Yogi said, "It ain't over until it's over."
