From a Mexican heat wave to our shivering timbers

We are truly blessed living close to most of our family in Calgary. We love the house we live in. Yet, the winter cold is starting to get to us. This picture was taken on February 14th. As you can see, stepping out on the deck does not give you that warm, fuzzy feeling you get in the tropics. Don't get me wrong. We love the seasons here, but after experiencing some of that sunshine and warmth in Puerto Vallarta over Christmas, we just might turn into a couple of Canadian snow birds.
